Wolfgang:  Part of the reason that the Blues sound different than traditional African music is the influence of European culture here in America.
Bill:  I thought that whites stole rock ‘n roll from African-Americans.  Are you saying that there might have been some sort of cross-pollination?
Wolfgang:  Kind of.  Whites do steal from blacks - just not from those Americans from Africa.  
Bill:  Stealing is wrong.  I’m glad only one kind of people do it.
